Every self-respecting pub needs a logo.
We wanted something that would connect the pub’s name with its meaning (“Tzores” – Yiddish for “troubles,” while also resembling the name of our town, Tzur Hadassah).
Since this is a community pub, first and foremost for the residents of Tzur Hadassah, we wanted something that only the locals would truly understand…
One of the ideas raised was to draw inspiration from the sculptures spread along Sderot Harey Yehuda in the town, created by local sculptor Ze’ev Primor z”l – first and foremost, the iconic “tightrope walker.”
There isn’t a single resident of Tzur Hadassah who doesn’t recognize it.
We gathered a small group of volunteer designers from the community and asked for ideas.
Amir Pleban, owner of the graphic design studio 5Polars, jumped on the challenge and created an artistic work that checked all the boxes: a character that is clearly the sculpture, but with a twist.
The colors and the background mountains also reflect the natural surroundings of the town.
To that, Amir added stylish T-shirts and menus.
Throughout the process, he was open to feedback and requests.
The result was an amazing logo that everyone who sees it connects to immediately.

I have known Amir for over half a decade now, and he helped significantly with setting up the first version of Moretin's website in 2020. He did the conceptualization, set up the website's framework on WordPress and Elementor, and ensured the website was in accordance with the current standards. As I have experience with coding and building websites, it was a two-man job, where I mostly took care of details and minor bug fixing. The communication throughout was smooth and informal. Sometimes it was a bit hard to get through to Amir, but I think that's in part because of his enthusiasm for building the web. Amir is flexible and an incredibly hard worker. He will put in extra hours to ensure that your website is how you want it to be. In January 2025, we at Moretin wanted to completely revamp our website and exactly at that time Amir reached out to us with a proposition to update the website - talk about perfect timing. He provided us with the necessary tools and knowledge to revamp our website, in particular the website's framework. In spite of the fact that his involvement in the 2025 version of the website was much smaller than it was in 2020, the website would not have looked like this had it not been for Amir's help.
